Are plan limits per account?
Yes. Limits are per MergeGuard account — one workspace. Pro is 300 reviews a month across GitHub, GitLab, and your editor, not per platform. You can connect as many repos as you want.
How do I use GitHub and GitLab on the same team account?
Sign in once. Stay on that session. From the dashboard, connect GitHub or GitLab as the second provider — don’t sign out and make another account. Both platforms share one plan and one monthly quota.
How do I get started with MergeGuard?
Sign up free with GitHub or GitLab. Your 14-day Pro trial starts on its own — no card. You get 100 reviews a month during the trial, then 30/month on Free. Subscribe to Pro ($19/mo) if you want to keep the higher limits.
What counts as a review?
Each time MergeGuard reviews a GitHub pull request, a GitLab merge request, or a file / git diff from the editor extension. Follow-up scans and deep-scan use your plan allowances too.
Do GitHub, GitLab, and MergeGuardAgent share one quota?
Yes, on the same MergeGuard account. One login covers GitHub PRs, GitLab MRs, and editor reviews. The monthly limit is shared.
Do limits reset every month?
Yes. Review quotas reset at the start of each UTC calendar month on all plans.
One login for GitHub and GitLab
Limits follow your MergeGuard account — not each GitHub org. Connect the second provider from the dashboard while still signed in.
