MergeGuardAgent for VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other VS Code–compatible editors. Review the file on your screen or your local git diff before opening a pull request—using the same MergeGuard account, plan, and monthly review limits as GitHub and GitLab.
What you can do
- Review Current File — AI review of the active editor tab with findings as inline diagnostics
- Review Git Diff — review uncommitted changes in your working tree (up to 40 files per run)
- Security Scan — scan lockfiles, Dockerfiles, Terraform, YAML, and
.envfiles for known vulnerabilities (OSV, plus Trivy on eligible plans) - Explain & apply fixes — plain-language explanations and optional one-click AI patches from the sidebar or editor quick actions
